The pool opened for the summer season last Saturday on May 11th. If you have not picked up your key cards from the hut or paid your dues, please do so as soon as possible. You will not be able to access the pool gate starting Monday of next week without a key card. If you do not pick up your key card by the close of business on Sunday, May 19th, you will need to email the treasurer, Eric Loots, to obtain your key card. At the beginning of the pool season, the pool operates on reduced hours. Until the last day of school for Wake County on June 12th, the pool will be open on weekdays from 4:00 - 8:00 pm, on Saturday from 10:00 am - 8:00 pm, and on Sunday from 12:00 pm 8:00 pm. After June 12th, regular pool hours will begin with the pool being open from 10:00 am - 8:30 pm on weekdays and Saturday. On Sundays the pool will be open from 12:00 am - 8:30 pm. In mid-August, the pool hours will reduce again until our final day of the season on Sunday, September 8th. The pool will host three home swim meets this summer for the Medfield Sharks on Tuesday, June 11th, Tuesday, June 25th, and Tuesday, July 16th. During the swim meets, the pool will be closed for non-swim team activities starting at 4:30 pm.
The swim team generally practices from 4:00 pm - 6:15 pm on Monday, Tuesday (just for the week of June 3rd), Wednesday, and Thursday starting on May 20th. They will also begin practicing in the morning from 9:30 am - 11:30 am on these same days starting on June 13th. During swim team practice, the shallow end and the deep end are still open to members. The middle of the pool is reserved for lap swim for the team. The swim team‘s season ends on July 18th.

Lastly, as previously indicated the pool will have a food truck every Thursday night from 5:30 - 7:30 pm in the parking lot starting on June 6th. Please feel free to invite Medfield neighbors to take advantage of the food trucks each week.
